Lobby
The lobby area is fairly large and the public areas are spacious and grand in keeping with the original features of the hotel.
Exterior
It is a traditional Victorian hotel dating from 1876 and looks very quaint set in the hillside.
Rooms
The bedrooms have either shower or bath and shower. All have television, radio, telephone and hospitality tray. The rooms are all different shapes and sizes but all are fairly large. Many have views of the lake. The decor and furnishings have all been upgraded recently and are of a good standard. Some of the rooms in the hotel have shower only and no bath.
Restaurant
There is one restaurant. It is a large, grand Victorian dining room, which is bright and spacious. There is also a smaller grillroom, which has oak beams and views of the lake.
