You might recognise this lovely hotel as it was often used to file both Inspector Morse and it was a firm favourite with the cast and crew of Inspector Lewis (the follow on programme from Inspector Morse) which filmed at the hotel in 2005. The newly opened 'The SPA at The Randolph' is built in the old cellar of the hotel with vaulted ceilings, luxury Italian tiling and fabrics plus relaxing candle light that creates a luxurious atmosphere unlike any other in city. Awared it's 5 stars in March 2007, this is Oxford's finest hotel.
In the heart of Oxford, opposite the Ashmolean Museum, The Randolph Hotel is just metres from The University of Oxford Colleges. The picturesque riverside and boathouses are a 15-minute stroll, and Oxford Railway Station is half a mile away.

Oxford trip

We were keen to visit the ashmolean museum and the hotel, which is just opposite, was perfectly situated and good for most sights and colleges too. the hotel has old-fashioned charm and glamour and we had a clean and very comfortable room. the hotel dinner is a bit pricey but beautifully served and the dining room impressed us with the elegant victorian decor. a good experience!

Awesome for the weekend

What a fantastic hotel. with creaking grandure, the most amazing staircase and a top location for visiting oxford. the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed a room change. the bar and the breakfast were topnotch. really luxurious for a weekend with a friend. i'm hoping to go back with my husband. he's love it.

Randolph oxford

A very disappointing hotel expected more for a 5 star .room shabby dirty carpet, socket coming off wall , hairdryer dangerous melting .when reported to reception unhelpful.service in tearoom dreadful waited 10mins for a table to be laid. a further 20mins for a capuccino costing £4.95.
car parking was abysmal we were directed to an underground car park no assistance with luggage and charged £29.95 by the hotel.
