The lobby is small, decorated in an elegant, classical mix of cream marble and plush red carpet and there is a small seating area with a grand piano.
It is an ornate red brick building and one of London's oldest purpose built hotels.
On average the rooms are in very good condition, some on the top floor have sloping ceilings, all are decorated in warm colours with dark furniture and are very cosy-looking. The Bathrooms are in good condition.
The restaurant is quite a feature of this hotel, decorated in striking pinks with a rich blue carpet, it is dominated by a number of white marble pillars and retains beautiful coving to the ceiling.
