What more can i say

What a pleasant surprise! we have become accustomed to inferior accommodation, in this price bracket, throughout the uk. best western milford shows all others how it should be done. the location may be too far out of town for some tastes, but we found it to be ideal.close enough to easily visit the museums, and far enough out to be quiet and restful.

Off the beaten track

A gem of a hotel, well worth a visit and reasonably priced.
breakfast was very good, but not cheap.
staff were very friendly and accommodating.
rooms was well equipped and spotlessly clean.
one minor downside could be the location, which is on the old a1 dual carriageway, meaning that you have to go around the houses a bit to get to and from the hotel, but worth the effort.
there isn't a lift to the upper floors, so make sure you book a downstairs room if you have a problem with stairs.
