The Mowbray is a historic building, originally built by the Duke of Devonshire as a private home. During the Second World War the building was acquired by the RAF to host Canadian Airmen and then after the war became a hotel. Today this is the perfect place to stay if you are in Eastbourne, whether it be a stay of pleasure or business. The hotel offers to its guests parking, a small bar, a lounge area, a concierge service, a breakfast buffet and a breakfast room.
Eastbourne has a lot to offer to nature lovers, such as the impressive cliffs and lush woodland of the South Downs National Park. The hotel is less than 1 km from the city center, just over 10 minutes' walk from Eastbourne Railway Station nearly two hours drive from London Heathrow Airport.
