It is a traditional Country House with parts dating back to 1851, and set amongst 18 acres of countryside. The older part of the hotel houses the restaurant and the modern extension houses the bedrooms.

With 68 rooms spread over three storeys, the Mercure Bristol North has an intimate country house ambience. The Standard rooms have furniture with subtle floral soft furnishings, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and a white-tiled en-suite bathroom with sea kelp toiletries.
