It is a traditional, edwardian style hotel which dates back to the nineteenth century. It has been fully restored and retains much of the original charm.
The bedrooms all have full facilities including minibar, trouser press, hairdryer, hospitality tray and a complimentary daily newspaper.
There are two restaurants which are contrasing in style. The orangery serves a carvery style lunch and a table d'hote dinner menu. The fountain is a more formal restaurant serving an extensive a la carte menu.
