Black Burn Lodge B&B has a selection of attractive bed and breakfast accommodation in the Scottish Borders, around 25 miles north of Carlisle. Located just to the west of Northumberland National Park, the house was designed and built by the owner, and features a delightful garden, terrace and conservatory. The village is surrounded by hills and woodlands, and Black Burn Lodge’s owner Michael is a keen walker and mountaineer, who will be happy to share his local knowledge. Newcastleton also has a golf course, mountain biking trails and its waters offer scenic spots for salmon and trout fishing.
