This is a good hotel with large comfortable rooms and the amazing travelodge bed. the hotel is a 10 minute walk from waterloo station. there is a tesco and sainsbury's 10 minutes away by the station. there is a excellent good value chinese takeaway a few doors down. they cook excellent beancurd. you can walk into the city centre very easily. you may be luck to see the london eye or the shard from your room.

My stay at this hotel was very good. it is the third time i have stayed there. we arrived at 13.30 and were advised that the room had been serviced and was ready for us to check in. we were then advised that it would cost another £10 if we wished to check in before 15.00. when i complained that if the room was ready why were we being charged an extra £10.i was advised that that was the case take it or leave it. this was the first time i had been asked for the extra £10.

We have used this hotel three times now and it is always reliably clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. add the advantage of location -close to waterloos - and the bus right on the doorstep to get to the theatres and it can't be beat.

My husband and i stayed for one night and found it a comfortable, clean basic hotel with everything you need and a friendly staff. the breakfast was very good and very fresh even though we came down rather late. we also loved the location as it is so very central and a few minutes walk from waterloo station and the south bank.

We stayed here recently on a saturday night with some friends. the hotel is in a great location close to the southbank and southwark which appears to be an up-and-coming area with a good selection of bars and restaurants. it is close to different tube stations and also london waterloo mainline station. for a budget hotel the facilities are better than i was expecting. it has a bar which appeared to still be open at 02:15 in the morning when we returned to the hotel, and also offers 24 hour room service for food. the rooms and bathrooms are basic and fairly small but perfectly adequate and were very clean, but were very hot when we stayed and there is no air-conditioning. the windows have their opening restricted to a very small gap and fans are provided and we had to have our fan on all night, but it wasn't too bad. we found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the breakfast was reasonable with a selection of hot and cold food. i would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

Friendly hotel, nicely refurbished, very comfortable, given choice of room & the breakfast buffet was excellent. easy to find from waterloo only 5 minutes walk. only thing missing - shower gel! not a deal breaker though, will just remember to bring some next time!

The room in this hotel was very clean and comfortable. where i was working in southwark road it was very convenient, within walking distance, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. located in good area for a range of restaurants and food outlets so the choice was a good one. would stay there again, if possible.

We were pleased with our service throughout our stay from check-in to departure. i would like to say a special thank-you to katea, who assisted during check-in, dinner, breakfast and just before check-out when we were locked out of our rooms just as we wanted to collect our suitcases! clean rooms, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. overall very pleasant stay.

We needed an early check-in before a wedding in westminster. that was no problem and the hotel location was very good. the staff were fine; sunday breakfast good; the room was large and bed comfortable. air conditioning would have been good as suddenly it was summer and hot. the fan helped a little.
