An excellent position in relation to san marco, opposite the salute on the grand canal. reception and dining room staff courteous and helpful, could not fault the service. perhaps because of the large party of tourists using the hotel at this time an upgrade was effected automatically. the view from the top floor over the canal made it a truly memorable experience. breakfast, included, was first class.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel. location is perfect you have the water taxis and the gondolas. we had a great room with a view of the canal for one night and the second night a inner view. food was fairly good but there are very good places nearby to eat - walking distance.
