A most enjoyable stay

No complaints at all with this hotel. there is some refurbishment taking place at the original main entrance which means you have to use a temporary entrance. this was a bit disappointing and did mean it was a bit of a maze to find your room from reception. that aside the quality of accomodation and service was 5 star. a lovely gesture of complimentary bottle of wine due to a special occasion went down very well too. highly reccomended.

Cosy stay in the heart of london!

The langham is both modern and comfortable. rooms are relaxing and soothing x best parts are the beautifully decorated artisan bar and landau restaurant. pricey but worth a visit fantastic room rate from hotelsclick!!

Disappointmeni

This hotel is under re furbishment - it has no front door (all boarded up), difficult to arrive by car or taxi !, to reach the hotel rooms you now have to walk through the "private club" area / take a lift / walk again to a second lift which gets you to the hotel rooms. not what you expect from a 5 star hotel! when you complain the staff say "i have made a note of that, thank you"

Hardly 5-star!

I was very disappointed with the standard of room. often stay in town for business and had been recommended the langham by a friend who stayed here a couple of years ago. however, no mention was made when i booked that the hotel is undergoing huge refurbishment. this meant that downstairs was unrecognisable (i have had meetings here in the past). my room was on 7th floor. rather small. poor bathroom. dusty cups and poor tea-making facilities. at least the bed was comfortable. didn't have time for breakfast because had an early morning meeting. will not return to the langham. courthouse kempinski just down the road is far superior in every way for similar rates.

Langham hotel

This hotel is like all leading hotels of the world...fantastic. the staff are excellent, the hotel immaculate and the guests needs always taken care of. our room was spotlessly clean, large and had everything we needed. food was amazing. the hotel is being refurbished at the moment, so there is no swimming pool...not their fault.

October 2007 at the langham

Stayed here on a business trip oct 07. my wife came along as she was recovering from an operation. we spent four nights. the staff were incredibly friendly without being overly obsequious, and i could not fault the comfort of the rooms, the cleanliness and the location, which is very near to oxford circus, the junction between london's best shopping streets, regent street and oxford street. also the newly refurbished bar was a delight at the end of each day. i would definately recommend as one of the best (and reasonably priced) london luxury hotels

Sound of music stopover

Great location for our visit to see sound of music at the paladium and a touch of shopping on oxford st. breakfast was a bit chaotic as the restuarant is out of action for a refurb, could be better organised and seems for some reason to be cramped into a small meeting room meaning people had to queue outside in the corridor for a table? leisuire facility is reasonable but needing a coat of paint, looking a little tired in places.

Honest review of langham

I would like to say hotelsclick.com are great, i was sceptical of there cheap prices at first especially when they wait a couple of days to confirm the booking but all went smoothly. the hotel looks splendid from the outside and you are greeted by very pleasant door staff, the entrance lobby looks fantastic as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. the room however was bog standard and would liken it to something like travel lodge accomodation but with a minibar. you do get all the niknaks you can take but there are only so many sewing kits you need. we normally stay in the mountbatten which have far nicer rooms.

Hotel langham

Had a very enjoyable stay at the langham, staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms very comfortable, spa and swimming pool excellent. found location to be fairly central. the only down side was the drinks in the bars were expensive, however, would definately recomend this hotelto other people and would stay there again.
