After a long day of car travel, we arrived at the glencoe hotel looking forward to a relaxing experience in quality accommodations. we were thoroughly disappointed with the physical upkeep of the facility (fixtures falling out of walls, duct taped exterior light fixtures, someone's prescription pill left on the bathroom floor, etc.). new management of the hotel indicated that they are working hard to fix and upgrade everything. time will tell... our one good experience was our dinner, which was very well prepared and presented with fresh ingredients. much will need to be improved to make the glencoe hotel deserving of the significant price charged.
