Excellent

When we arrived our room was not ready and because we had to wait for half an hour we were upgraded to a suite. the staff are friendly and helpful and always smiling. breakfast was good but expensive but worth it once. the room was spotless and very comfortable. probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. one downside there was not a proper bar to go to to get a drink at the end of the day.

Beautiful hotel - a taste of luxury

I stayed in the hotel for two nights on 11/11/2011, with friends. the location is excellent, next to the playhouse (we were at a show) and surrounded by busy pubs and excellent restaurants. it is a 5-10 minute walk, uphill, to st james' centre (shopping) and princes st. the service is excellent, rooms are spotless and the separate sitting area is a bonus. we had rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking the city and it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine and watch the hustle bustle. if you want a quiet room ask for room at back- these rooms overlook lovely gardens. we didn't have breakfast as i thought this was expensive so we ate in a nearby cafe. dinner menu looked reasonable but we preferred to eat out!
