Shabby but good vibe and neighborhood

This hotel needs a serious makeover. however, the staff is exceptionally helpful and nice, which sort of makes up for it.

Highly satisfied

The employees at the fairfax were all top notch, cheerful, and friendly and helpful. the hotel is beautiful, our room was wonderful. the bed was amazingly comfy and the room very clean. nice experience for us. we will go back again. the only negative was the a/c unit. when it kicks on it makes a noise that woke us up a couple times during the night.
