Best place on freemont

I love this motel. it is where you need to be....right in the middle of everything. and make sure you see defending the caveman.

Great stay for the price!

We got 4 nights for $325 which is a great price for this area during the time we went. my husband used security to check in some valuables and they were in good condition and protected when picked up. easy security process. staff was friendly. downtown area is best place to stay in vegas! the rooms were a bit noisy because of the show and bands down on fremont, but it's vegas, come on! would definitely stay again.

Clean, modern

Nice place right on freemont, old town. convenient. mc donalds right below. hotel lobby and room was very nice. clean and we'll stocked. beware of the $22 hotel "resort fee" / night they charge you at check in. also, noise from the freemont experience could be troublesome to some early-to-bed guests. our corner suite was overlooking freemont experience, and right above one of the stages, we heard the loud band through through our closed, heavy draped wondow, but they closed down by 1am and then it was quiet. comfy bed, and couch bed. awesome shower.

Do not book there

We had no idea the location was so far from the strip. "walking" distance is really at least 30 minutes, and i suspect it is really longer. there is nothing around except some old casinos. when i arrived, i was not allowed to check-in because my husband made the reservation, so the room was not in my name. he was on a later flight. i was told he would have to call expedia, which was impossible since he was in flight. i tried to head to the "pool," which is the size of a backyard pool and across the driveway from the hotel and backs to a busy street, but i needed a key to enter. after spending $45 for a cab to the hotel and another $40 to leave it, i booked a room on the strip, enjoyed the pool, and relaxed in the sun. if you stay at this hotel, you will need to rent a car because you can't go anywhere or do anything. and, make certain the person who booked the room is with you or you won't be allowed to check-in! very disappointed and will never book online again without knowing the exact hotel and location. reviews can lie! i will say the gentleman who drove us to the strip was very nice. why did we take a private car? because no cab was around!

Good enough...

The hotel was right in the center of the action on fremont street. its good enough if you're traveling by yourself and don't want to impress anyone. the slot machines were very tight. nice that there's a mcdonalds attached, you can survive off the dollar menu.
