Firstly may i say that this hotel is clean and in a great central location. however i do wonder how it gets it 4 star status. the standard rooms are clean and tidy but whilst there in sept 11' there was a lot of noise early hours from building work outside rooms and in other rooms being refurbished. room was adequate but those rooms facing the rear of the property do suffer from street noise etc. reception was excellent as was the buffet breakfast, but laking that sparkle of other 4 star hotels. had the room windows been double glazed and the street noise not a problem then 4 star all the way
