Lobby
The small lobby is cosy and has maintained all of its traditional style and design. A small timber reception desk with marble top is on the left of the lobby and a cosy leather sofa is positioned opposite.
Exterior
Built in 1859 and originally a grand residential estate, the Sunnyside Park is a beuatiful colonial building. Only 2 stories tall, this listed building has kept all its original features including high ceilings, sash windows and is surrounded by the landscaped gardens.
Rooms
All of the rooms are very spacious, have en-suite bathrooms and large comfortable beds. The rooms are decorated with original pictures from the turn of the 19th century and have whicker chairs and a writing desk. The rooms have a pleasant relaxed feel to them and good facilities including satellite TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, trouser press and PC modem points. 24 hour room service is also available.
Restaurant
The hotel has a large bright restaurant offering an a la carte menu as well as an extensive list of South African wines. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
