Lobby
The large lobby entrance is bright and inviting with plenty of seating for guests and a small reception desk to the right as you enter. The work of local South African artists hangs from the walls and the hotel bar is immediately in front of you as you enter the lobby.
Exterior
Built in traditional Cape style the hotel is spread out over a wide area and resembles a small village. The rooms are split between 6 buildings, all of which are no longer than 2 storeys high and painted white.
Rooms
The rooms are amogngt the most spacious in Cape Town and elegantly furnished in the traditional style of the region. The rooms and are beautifully furnished and the en-suite bathrooms are very big. Rooms have large beds, comfortable whicker chairs and a writing desk. All rooms have satelitte TV, room service and either immediate access to the gardens/private sunbathing area or a private balcony.
Restaurant
The Spier 'Village' is spread out over several acrres and houses an impressive variety of restaurants which include a French restaurant with breathtaking views of the Helderberg mountains, a historic 150 year old restaurant serving traditional Cape Malay food and the famous Moyo restaurant which offers an incredible 'eat as much as you can' buffet - Moyo's is one of Cape Town most popular gastranomic attractions.
