3 great nights in gothenburg

Great hotel in great location for visiting the city, just on the edge of the central area alongside the rail, tram and bus stations, making it very accessible. but it is within easy walking distance of all the central attractions so the need to use transport is fairly minimal, we had airport transfers and a tram to the boats that tour the archipelego. hotel was off good standard with typical continental breakfast choices and hot buffet too, drinks at the bar were expensive but that is sweden for you. in the immediate vacinity are plenty of good restaurants and bars so we did not dine in, the menu at the hotel did appear a little limited. we wanted a central location at a reasonable price, this hotel certainly met our needs perfectly. we found the staff very attentive and helpful when needed, and check-in and out were the fasrest i have ever experienced, perhaps due to advance payment through hotelsclick.com? my wife and i had a fantastic few days here, the weather was glorious too, and i would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone, indeed if it is good enough for the swedish football team who were there preparing for euro 2008, what more need i say!
