For the price bracket the villa igea offered very good value for money. fantastic location just around the corner from st marks square and a one min walk from one of the main water bus stops which enabled easy access from/to the airport. the rooms were very nice and most overlooked a small, relatively quiet square with lovely views of a very picturesque church. good quality buffet breakfast equal to others we had during our trip to italy in 4 star hotels. the hotel doesn't really have any facilities or a restaurant but is ideal for a city break when you spend very little time in the hotel and there were numerous restaurants very close by. we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa igea to fellow travellers and would defy them to be anything but bedazzled by venice, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
