We booked this hotel because we wanted to use the pool and sit in the sun as well as go into the city for sightseeing. unfortunately the pool was closed for the season, not open until 30th september as advertised, so this rather spoilt our break. the spa was not complimentary. there was no garden to sit in other than through the spa. the menu was not that extensive in the restaurant either. but saying the above, the hotel was very nice, the breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
