The medium sized lobby has marble floors, pale walls and is fitted out with decorative columns. The reception area is dark wood and to the left of the entrance.To the immediate left of the entrance there is a patisserie and brasserie. The beautiful ballroom is situated to the rear.

Exterior

The shell of the 1918 building in its neo classical style has been kept along with the 1964 addition. The bulding is pale in colour and has a very attractive luxurious appearance. The athenee palace was the first building of it's type to be built in Bucharest.

The rooms are Brand new and very attractive indeed. They are modern in design with calming colour schemes. All are medium to large in size and all bathrooms offer bathtub. Rooms are airconditioned.
