Three of us wanted to stay in old riga. the wellton old riga palace was in a great position, not in the middle of old riga but just on the edge which was fine. the hotel was clean and the service was very good. our room was on the small size (3 single beds in a row) but when you are in a place like old riga you don't stay in your room. the buffet style breakfast was very good, fresh and some hot food as well as cold meats, cheese, salads, and good coffee and tea. all in all a good hotel at a great price.
