Terrible hotel

The location was good, the rooms very noisy from outside and inside, the lift was horrible, the room was very smelly and floor wasn’t clean from previous guests . the breakfast wasn’t good , there wasn’t choices for vegans or vegetarians.

Great location!

Was slightly worried having read other reviews of this hotel but was pleasantly surprised! the location is fabulous & the room, although on the small side was spotless with clean bedding, clean towels & great aircon. we stayed on room 604 on the top floor so no noisy people above us. the room had no view to speak of but as we spent very little time on the room, this was not a problem at all. only downside to a room on the top floor was waiting for the lift as it took forever!! breakfast was good, with a large buffet style offering but very busy.

Good value

Hotel placed in a great location [just of the rambles ] ,we found it clean ,basic ,v good value for money considering barcelona is a expensive city.good base to explore the city ,caught the bus into catolina sq from the airport then a 10 minute walk .breakfast well stocked and plenty of choice .would stay again

Great location!

Great location ! our room was quiet, clean and adequate.it's a shame the shower leaked all over the place and had damaged the door and caused the flooring to lift into a dangerous state! breakfast was quite expensive so we didn't try it.

A fair dael for the cost

The hotel was what you expect for a three star, personally i would rather pay a little more and stay four star which i have previously but it is clean and the breakfast is ok too.

Hotel rialto

We stayed in the hotel rialto for 4 nights. room small but clean and modern and bed comfortable. breakfast excellent. position excellent, easy access to ramblas and 2 metro stations. easy walk to placa de catylunia. relatively quiet at night, our room was at the back, some noise one night from inconsiderate guests. would recommend this hotel.

Barcelona rialto 2008

The hotel was as described & staff were friendly. the area around the ramblas was a little bit seedy after certain hours. the hotel was far enough away as not to be affected. if you go to the right into the gothic area it is a very differant scene. the buffet breakfast was superb with something for everyone.

Stay at the rialto barcelona

I am very familiar with this hotel.as usual the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.however, there was room for improvement on the 4th floor where the corridor lights did not operate as they should and, as there were renovations taking place and the carpets were not secured, it seemed rather dangerous.also our room 429 was a very long way from the lifts.

A good value basic three star hotel

The best thing about this hotel is the location - just a short stroll from the ramblas. the hotel was very clean, but our room on the fourth floor was a little tired decor-wise. unfortunately, the whole floor above was being completely refurbished, so it was very noisy with tiles and fittings being ripped out - at least it was as good as an alarm call at 8.30 am. they must be working their way down the hotel, so next time we come (as we will) we shall expect a nice new room, although the prices will, probably, reflect this. breakfast was a hot and cold buffet and was more than adequate.
