This 5-storey hotel comprises a total of 50 rooms and guests are able to enjoy an agreeable stay in the fully air-conditioned ambience. The location is fab, just opposite the gothic cathedral it allows easy walking access to the rambla, catalunya sq,gothic qtr, picasso museum and marina. it is a little noisy at night but more during the week and no so at weekends. then again after a few hrs drinking sangria on la rambla you just fall into bed. the hotel itself is good, clean, friendly and nice breakfasts. we went as a couple and it was perfect, if we were taking the kids next time we may go for one a bit quieter - not sure what the family rooms are like or if they have any? get instructions on how to use the safe - it is complicated but works well when you know what you are doing! the bus from the airport stops at pl cataunya - 500m away and all the tour buses go from there too so really handy.
