Great location, walking distance to most locations. be careful if you book standard room though, ours was a single room with a double bed in it. we did complain, and from here on in cant fault the hotel. they upgraded us to a larger double room which was great. nice breakfast.

Really pleased i chose this hotel as the base for a weekend with my 12 year old daughter. received a lovely welcome when we arrived (tired and harassed after long train journey and rush hour tube) and the receptionist was kind enough to arrange an upgraded room in recognition of my daughter's birthday. room wasn't large but it was attractive and comfortable. great range of choice at breakfast. close to oxford st and covent garden, location was really good for shopping and shows.

Room was very small,with all the bed extras (throws,cushions) when using the bed for its intended purpose there was nowhere to store this stuff other than block the way to the bathroom. small rooms like this do not need this clutter.

Well situated hotel with very good staff. room a reasonable size (though not huge) - a pity that the windown could not be opened even slightly, leaving us dependent on noisy air-conditioning.

Only stayed one night, took my son who is partially sighted so needed a room near to ours. rooms were a few doors apart so not too bad, rooms were very clean and decorated lovely, large tv, clean and bright bathroom. breakfast was in the same part that was the bar the night before and a bit hectic and there did not seem to be enough room for all the guest coming at approx same time, and as it was a sunday most people would not want to go to breakfast too early. ?bit pricey on drinks in the bar, do not know why hotels need to charge quite so much for their drinks just because their hotel has a 4-5 star rating. but overall the hotel is lovley, staff friendly although quite pricey.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at in london for the price.excellent service from reception,restaurant and concierge. wonderful staff all very friendly who couldn't do enough for us as a party staying with 1 toddler and a baby.

I stayed at radisson kenilworth for one night. the staff were very helpful and friendly. i have stayed a couple of times at the sister hotel bloomsbury and although that is slightly more updated, i found i preferred the kenilworth. it is a great location too - just off new oxford st, leading to oxford st and about 5 mins from covent garden. tottenham court tube is not far away about 5 minute walk if not fighting through the crowds. the rooms were very clean and well maintained. a great hotel in a great location. i would definitely stay here again.

When i arrived at the radisson edwardian kenilworth, where i stay quite often, the very nice man at the desk asked me if i would consider moving to a hotel in mayfair because the kenilworth had been overbooked. moving was fine with me because my work that day was scheduled near piccadilly, so the man put me into a taxi and sent me to the radisson may fair on stratton street, where everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. it was a lovely hotel. the move was accomplished so easily, and i got to experience a different part of london. i loved my stay at the may fair. please note: i have just recommended the kenilworth to friends from the us who are coming to london in may.

A clean, tidy and well run hotel with a quick and efficient reception desk. the bedroom was clean and modern albeit slightly small but this is usual in london! all in all a most enjoyable stay

Room well appointed and had a sofa too. the only thing i can think to mention by way of an improvement would be to upgrade the television and provide at least the basic freeview channels. the bathroom was rather small but very clean. one other thing that is beyond the hotel's control, is the nearby crossroads[great russell street/southampton row]i think the traffic lights were out of sync causing a log jam of cars whose drivers, during the rush hour, got cross and honked their horns. this happened every few minutes but eased off as the evening wore on. however,someone wanting an early night would have been disturbed by this as our room was at the front of the hotel. perhaps the management need to speak to westminster council or the police to get this sorted. but otherwise a nice stay.

Room was clean and well equipped but very small even for london standards. air-con almost non-functional so we tried to open the window. the hinge broke and we were stuck for half an hour waiting for someone to come and look at it. they moved us to another small room with minimal ac. very noisy from street below. on plus side, clean and functional (apart from the a/c), helpful staff and good central location.

I would be aggrieved had i paid full price for the rooms i booked, but through hotlesclick the price was reasonable (3 rooms, 4 nights £1300). of our three rooms two were quite small and one was quite generous, the smallest being in the newer part of the hotel building. the location is fabulous, close to the west end for the show we elected to see, and there's an endless selection of drinking and dining to be found within ten to fifteen minutes walk. the hotel staff were never less than helpful and courteous, the rooms were clean and generally well maintained, the breakfast (included in our room price) was generous and the choice reasonably wide ranging. the hotel restaurant do an early sitting 'pre-theatre' deal for £12.50 or £14.50 for two or three courses, which was excellent if a little low in volume. overall ,a great place if you don't intend to stay indoors too much, otherwise potentially small rooms may mar your experience.

My partner and i had a weekend with 2 concerts in london plus a gallery visit, so we booked in for 2 nights at the kenilworth. we were greeted at reception by staff that seemed to want to help rather than just going through the bureaucracy. like many old london hotels, the double room was small, really only a single, but was clean and tidy. it had an iron & board, hairdryer, kettle, safe, mini-bar, etc etc. bathroom was quite luxurious if laid out a little awkwardly. because of it's superb location, from the hotel it was cheaper to get a cab than a tube to most of our destinations (as there were 2 of us). and in some cases we were able to walk. didn't use business services so can't comment on them. the bar was quite nice though mostly empty and drinks were no more extortionate than elsewhere in london. the weather was quite cool during our stay, yet the room was too hot. the aircon didn't do anything much, and the windows could not be opened. it would have been a nightmare in a hot spell. overall though, staying at the kenilworth enhanced our weekend.
