Excellent location right in the heart of the city. first room allocated was clean, large and well furnished, but had limited outside light and only a view of a wall. we asked for another room higher up and they moved us. apart from the first room (beware of rear rooms on floors 1 to 3)the hotel was very good and excellent for the money.

Quality st catherine is excellantly situated adjacent to pedestrianised area of the city centre. a typical old building, chic decor in reception. light, airy, clean bedrooms, soft comfy bed. modern, clean, light breakfast room serving excellant food. staff very polite and helpful. good value for money. no complaints. bordeaux a lovely city to visit for a short break, easy to navigate. sights, food and shopping all top quality.

Superb value for money - location couldn't be better - clean (if small) air conditioned room with excellent bathroom, wc, & tv. friendly staff. €7 airport bus drops you 75m from rue st catherine - less than 5 mins leisurely stroll from bus to hotel reception. hotel overlooks 2km of straight high quality retail. local restaurants mainly good - ask friendly staff about sea food eating though! june/july 08.
