Two premier stays

We stayed here for a day on the forward leg of a recent trip to europe, and on the way back, to break the journey. the hotel is located at the airport and you walk through air conditioned corridors and a shopping centre and food hall to reach it. no need to get taxis and you can wheel your bags to the hotel on a trolley. the hotel is quiet with no aeroplane noise at all and has all the facilities one needs. their restaurant has great food and a wide range of breakfast options and, like the costa coffee shop located near reception, it is open 24 hours per day. rooms are a good size and have everything you need. it's possible to take bus or other private tours to see the sights and attractions of abu dhabi, although we were tired and didn't do this. the shops nearby have various restaurants and cafes, a pharmacy and a shop selling everyday and travel needs and souvenirs. staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. we were given late checkout for a small extra fee to allow us to use the room all day, as our return flight to sydney didn't leave till late evening. this allowed us to relax for the day. i would stay here again and recommend it to all travellers.
