The entrance to the pousada has been decorated and furnished to an apartan style but always up to a high standard and elegance.Beige, terracota and brown colours have been used.
Exterior
This property was built on the ruins of a former convent.Before the monastery this was the site of a hermitage founded in the therteenth century.This has preserved the monastery heritage intact.The chapel and sacristy have been transformed into lounge and bar.The result is a harmonious blend of historical architecture and modern construction and comfort.

The 24 rooms have been decorated in different ways and styles but again the elegance and good taste is present in every detail.They are medium in size and also fully equipped with private bathroom.
Restaurant
The restaurant serves excellent regional foods such as grilled codfish, kid stew and local egg pudding.
