Para no volver

Buen hotel, buena situación, pero le pierden los detalles. camas como piedras, habitaciones sin insonorizar y de paredes guarras. desayuno escaso y de poca calidad y variedad. no vuelvo, no sirve ni de picadero.

Ottima posizione, silenzioso e confortevole

Ho soggiornato in questo albergo con la famiglia. l'albergo è moderno, pulito e confortevole. la colazione è abbondante e varia, di qualità media. i punti a favore sono la posizione, vicinissimo alla metro, ma è altrettanto comodo per girare a piedi: plaza major e puerta del sol distano circa venti minuti a piedi. la zona non è mal frequentata, cosa importante per il rientro di sera (io rientravo alle 22 circa con mia figlia di 10 anni). lo consiglio. se dovessi tornare a madrid, trovando gli stessi ottimi prezzi, scenderei nuovamente in questo albergo.

As average as it gets

Lack of basic services: no shampoo. i could hear the noise from the street, as there is no sound protection in the hotel. no maganizes to read in the reception room. some of the employees don't speak english. only spanish channels on tv. but good price and excellent location.

We stayed there in november

Very good position, about 5 min walk from metro and 10 min from plaza mayor. our room was very quiet, a little dark (not a large window in rainy days of november) but we slept very well. in general the hotel and room were very clean; we did not have breakfast but there is a bar where we ordered orange juices. the only minus sign was that the bathroom smelled of "wet" -- not a big deal however

Good accomodation for good price

Ganivet is new hotel on good location - in madrid center. better than nearby porta de toledo. the rooms are ok, well provided, quite clean. the reception area is not very pleasant, quite unpersonal. not many brochures about the town, surroundings and maps of the town. they even don't have the brochure of the hotel! altogether - good accomodation for the price i paid through hotelsclick. thank you.
