The hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy both Polish and international dishes. You are also invited to the bar to sample a drink typical of the area.
The location of the hotel, only 300 meters away from the Main Square, is its unquestionable advantage as most monuments and prestigious spots are located exactly in the heart of the Old City, which is only a walk away.

Hotel alexander

Location is always my number 1 priority when booking a hotel and hotel alexander receives 10/10 on that front. the hotel is situated just 5 minutes walk from krakow's main square, though there are still plenty of amenities - a post office, corner shop, fastfood outlets - closer to the hotel.

the service offered by the hotel is also excellent. our double room was modern and clean with a tv (only polish-language channels), mini-bar and phone inside. the bathroom was very clean and looked recently istalled, though the open shower, common in continental hotels, is a bit of a nuisance.

the breakfast was sufficient - mostly cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts and breads, though kabanos (traditional polish hot 'frankfurter'-style sausage) and both boiled and scrambled eggs were available.

i would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in krakow
