Lovely hotel, was expecting it to be small but it wasn't. everybody friendly and helpful. it was very clean and the bedrooms were larger than expected. would definately stay there again, infact my daughter would like to live there!!!

Nice place to stay on budget

We stayed in angela for 3 nights. the hotel was very clean and cosy. great breakfast (very generous selection of cold and hot dishes). it's easy to get into the old town (about 1/2 h walk) or by one of the several buses. we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Visit to gdansk

This is our second visit to hotel angela and would stay there again. good bus rout to the town centre. the only downside is that they do not cater for meals in the evening, however it is great to have tea and coffee avaialble throughout the day.

Lovely budget hotel within in short public transport ride of old town

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be very clean and the reception staff very helpful. the rooms aren't huge but have everything you need. the breakfast is generous. it's easy to get into the old town (it's not close enough to walk) on either the bus (50p) or a taxi ride (£3ish, more in the evening £4-£5). the only problem we had was that we had a room next to the concrete fence and it was extremely windy the first night and it did keep us awake. once the wind calmed down it was fine though. we would definately recommend this hotel.

Home from home

We have just returned from our short break in gdansk and although the weather was extremely cold the welcome at the angela was warm and friendly. everyone from those in reception to the ladies who cleaned our room where very helpful and nothing was too much trouble to them. our room was cleaned each day to a very high standard and the breakfasts each morning where more than filling with lots of different things to try. although the hotel is not as central as we would have liked it doesnt take too long by bus to get to the centre and the bus stop is across the road from the hotel. if returning to gdansk we would certainly stay at the angela and have no problem in recommending it to others. it was more like a 4 star hotel than a 2!
