3 star

Location is great, few steps from the sea with great view. breakfast is classic english breakfast. we was disappointed with cleanses of hotel. one morning we saw bug in green salads. also, in bathroom you will have basics amenities without shampoo only shower gel and soap. we asked on reception for shampoo but older guy named nicolas laugh us and suggested to use soap for hair, also he explained us that shampoo is expensive, and finally he said this is 3 star hotel? other receptionist was very polite.

Awful hotel

This is the worst hotel i have ever been. room was too small without a window and completely without a daily light. it also smelled awfully from the air condition. bathroom was also too tiny and i couldn't even get a proper shower! english breakfast was cold and tasteless. all in all, awful hotel which i don't recommend to anybody.

I do not recommend this hotel. we had a problem with the tv signal to connect, and the manager on duty was really unhelpful. given that he was rude with us and instead of finding a solution, he literally walked away and when we suggested that they should give us at least free wifi to solve the matter the receptionist told us that if he sees the manager he would tell him. no effort from their end to be sorted. which i believe that in a hotel room a tv with the local channels should be available as stated in their hotel manual.

Ottimo albergo

Mi sono trovata bene, la camera era spaziosa, pulita giornalmente. il personale è molto disponibile ed educato. chi nn ha molte pretese si troverà benissimo in questa struttura. l'unico appunto è che potrebbero introdurre più specialità italiane a colazione.

For convenience only and a good breakfast.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the buffet breakfast was superb but that is all that can be said of this (turkish owned) hotel. it barely rates as a 3 star. the room was tiny and had a flat screen tv on the wall that did not get a signal for most of the two days i was there. i complained twice to the reception and got a sour 'couldn't care less and rudely abrupt) response. when it did work it received on about 8 to 10 channels, mostly italian french or russian. only bbc and euronews was available. internet was not freely available. this hotel caters for groups and mostly in the 50 and up age group. despite a claim on its web site that each room has a 'stocked mini bar' there was no such thing in my room. nor was there any tea and coffee making facilities. if you wanted them you had to 'hire' them. on the duvet covers of both twin beds were noticeable stains that were obviously there for a long time. it was apparent that no effort has been made to remove them. although i had pre-booked and paid for two night stay, an error was made on check in and i was locked out of my room on the afternoon of the second day. my access card had to be re programmed to give me access. on this second day, room service only came to make up my room at 3.00 pm despite me having left a 'please make up my room' sign on the door. this is a very basic 3 star hotel in a very good location not far from valletta.

Ottimo hotel

La camera era spaziosissima con un bel divano, cucina attrezzata, tavolino per pranzo. anche il bagno molto comodo e confortevole. davvero un ottimo hotel in un posizione perfetta per visitare malta. raggiungibile direttamente da aeroporto con bus x2.

Ottima posizione

L'albergo è situato in ottima posizione per visitare l'isola di malta con la fermata dell'autobus proprio davanti all'entrata. la camera era pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, vi era anche un balconcino che permetteva la vista mare. molto scenografica la piscina all'ultimo piano e la sala ristorante ubicata al sesto piano che aveva una bella vista sul golfo. la colazione era prevalentemente salata, mancavano ad esempio le brioche. ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo anche se sono andato fuori stagione.

Ho prenotato 2 stanze per 5 persone,pagando un pò di più poiché il plaza regency è molto più nuovo ed è accanto al plaza.ci hanno sistemato al plaza,a loro dire,nel regency non ci sono triple,e li ho dovuti quasi pregare via mail per poter avere almeno un balcone nella tripla.balcone avuto...ma praticamente affacciava su un muro.per di più,non esistono canali tv italiani (mentre loro dicono che ce ne sono 3).per il resto la stanza non era piccola e sia a colazione che a cena è sempre un copia incolla...sempre le stesse cose.non ci tornerei.

Good place beetween valletta / paceville nice equiped room (be carefull beetween room with and without sea view !) reception very professional restaurant/breakfast room with sea view very nice bar and swimming pool on top exceptionnal interior swimming pool with jaccuzzi for winter (be carefull on opening hour 18:00 too early when you work) quiet hotel

Ottimo hôtel

Ottimo rapporto qualita pezzo. la camera in cui ho soggiornato era ben arredata ed il bagno era in ottime condizioni. lo consiglio per.un soggiorno in città, molto comodo per la vicinanza alle fermate degli autobus e alla fermata della navetta aeroportuale.

Hotel plaza ..... consiglio di verificare prima.

Ho soggiornato diverse volte al plaza e non sempre sono rimasto soddisfatto. infatti l'hotel ha sia camere belle appena ristrutturate ma anche camere molto vecchie come l'ultima in cui ho soggiornato. nelle prime i bagni e servizi sono ottimi in quelle vecchie sonon insufficienti e fatiscenti. l'hotel è diviso su due strutture con due diverse entrate e per entrambi vale in discorso delle camere nuove e vecchie per cui consiglio di verificare prima la sistemazione che si stà prenotando onde evitare sorprese rispetto alle aspettative.

Supernice hotel

We had a room on the 5th floor, at the end of a corridor away from the elevators. this was perfect. the rooms are so nicely decorated and the feeling is really modern. really nice to have a fan in the bathroom and small reading lamps at the beds. nice mirrors as well. the size of the pool was perfect, which allowed to really swim in it. also liked the sunbeds. the variety of the breakfast was superb. all in all this hotel gets top rankings all over. only thing missing is wifi availability in the rooms and pool area.

An affordable price for 2 nights stay including yummy english breakfast!!

The stay was pleasant with fantastic english breakfast to begin the day, the only draw back we had that we were asked to pay a 3.50eur charge to have a cooler. but overall it was a really nice room. location is near the sea. will definitely choose it again :)

Paghi poco, ottieni ancora meno: alla larga!

Abbiamo speso poco (50 euro a notte) grazie a una promozione su hotelsclick, ma questo non giustifica aver ottenuto una stanza al primo piano piccola, sporca, con decine di moscerini a farci compagnia la notte, con due letti singoli uniti per far finta fosse uno matrimoniale come quello richiesto, con lenzuola bucate e cuscini alti mezzo centimetro e ingialliti. il bagno si è allagato due volte in mattinata con l'acqua usata per pulire il tetto che filtrava dalla "finestra" che dava su un pozzo di luce...senza luce, visto che c'erano solo tubi idraulici e oscurità. la moquette era tutta sporca, la tv non funzionava, c'era una puzza orribile proveniente non so da dove ("risolta" dalla donna delle pulizie ogni mattina lasciando la finestra aperta...ed essendo al primo piano, accanto a un balconcino -che noi non avevamo- poteva entrare chiunque...) e, in generale, è stato il peggior soggiorno in un hotel della mia vita. e' un peccato, essendo questo di fronte al mare e alla fermata dell'autobus (incluso quello che va in aeroporto), con bravi receptionist.
