Hotel ottimo

Abbiamo soggiornato per la prima volta in questo hotel e ci siamo trovati benissimo.ottima la posizione, a pochi passi dalla metro di villiers. il personale sempre disponibile, gentile e piacevole. ottima la colazione. la camera un pò piccola ma con tutti i comforts,sempre pulita,comodo il piano cottura. a noi è stata assegnata una camera al 6° piano con letto matrimoniale e dalla finestra si vedeva la torre eiffel.e' un hotel che ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.consigliatissimo.

A fine place to stay in paris

with the prices in paris, i was really surprised to find a fine hotel for such a price. when we got there after some problem getting from the airport to the city the staff was really friendly so it made a good impression. i would recommend it!!

A nice weekend in paris

Spent a nice weekend in paris. finding the hotel was a bit of an adventure: turns out that there is another "pavillon monceau" less than 500m away from this one - actually looked a bit better, like recentely renovated ... but eventually we got to our destinantion and were welcomed by friendly receptionists. it was hot all weekend (30 degrees celcius) so a room without airco was a bit of a challenge, but given we were on the 6th floor we actually managed to cool down the room at night to a reasonnable level. the room was small but tidy. the furniture should be replaced, also in the tiny bathroom (cracks in the lavabo). it came with a tiny kitchinette with a working fridge, so we could keep our drinks cool and we might have cooked/heated some food (microwave available). the breakfast (included) was ok, basic but fresh and offering an acceptable mix, esp. for the given price. the breakfast room in the basement was extremely hot though (no windows/no ventilation) so we felt cooked when finishing our meal! overall good value for money, close to public transport and a nice park (parc monceau). good for a weekend escape if you plan to be there only for sleeping and showering (and ev. breakfast). consider it to be a 2* hotel rather than the 3* as advertised. you might look out for other pavillon hotel(s) which have been recently renovated - but those might be more expensive!
