We had a lovely stay here. it's a beautiful hotel, right in the centre of alexandria, overlooking the sea. the buffet breakfast offered terrific choice. the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. alexandria is well worth visiting and this is the place to stay!

If you don't want to be miles away from town at a resort on the corniche then this is a perfect place to stay. close to all the sights and sounds of alexandria (you will soon get used to the sound of car horns and trams - it adds to the atmosphere!). the staff were excellent, without exception. friendly, helpful and well-trained. the furnishings are mainly antique and some may not appreciate the faded grandeur of the place - but it is evocative of the time when this type of hotel was in its heyday.
