Excellent hotel

My wife and i have stayed in this hotel twice now in the space of 3 months because we liked it so much. the hotel is very modern and clean. the staff speak english. their is a very well kept and modern swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna which we used every night to relax after a long day of walking round paris. the bar was a bit expensive (5 euros for a coke). we had breakfast included in our price and the food on the buffet was very good with a lovely atmosphere in the breakfast room, staff cleaned the tables very quickly after people left them. the reception staff are very helpful, they found anything out for us that we wanted to know (eg where a certain restaraunt was we asked for and they printed a map out for us to find it). i would very much reccomend this hotel and will be going back in the future.

Great hotel in paris!

We had a great stay at this hotel,the staff were friendly, the room clean with a great shower and toiletries. the spa area was good (with a fitness centre but we didn't use it), separate hammam though for male and female so not the best for conversation if you are with your partner. nice pool with a jacuzzi on the side although it wasn't really warm enough to sit in for long. the breakfast buffet was well stocked with a good selection of foods. very handy for the metro which is just up the street and takes you straight into the centre of town. price for two was excellent.

A great hotel

We stayed at the oceania from 29.9.08 until 2.10.08 whilst visiting paris on holiday. i'd spent hours trawling the internet looking at hotels and wasn't particularly inspired by any of them. i wanted a clean, well located, modern hotel - in that order. the oceania delivered all of my wants and more besides. the attention to details was brilliant, from a plastic bag to put your wet umbrella in when entering the hotel to slippers and a gown in your locker at the swimming pool. we had a fabulous stay in paris which was made even better by our stay at the oceania. the location was good, just 5 stops from montpanasse and took minutes to get to from the porte de versaille metro stop.

Fat tony

Hotel is generally excellent. a bit further out of the centre of paris than most tourist hotels but the transport links are excellent. rooms and leisure facilities very good. breakfast good. only small complaints are the vending machines - did not work correctly during our visit - and the lockers in the leisure area - the locks did not work.

Excellent hotel

This is a great hotel, which we stayed in for 5nights. the hotel is very modern and spotless. with the metro on the door step you are only 20-30mins away from all of paris's tourist attractions. the choice from the hot or cold buffet at breakfast was good. the facilities with bar, swimming pool,jacuzzi, sauna are ideal after a long day out walking in paris. there are even a few good reasturants a minutes walk from the hotel. if you do not mind the metro travelling then i would highly recomment it. also the price we paid was exceptional given the standard of accomodation. will definately go back, when i go back to paris.
