Stay ruined by misleading information from novotel/hotelsclick

I booked a twin room, and received a form from hotelsclick saying i had been booked into a 'superior twin room', but it turned out this hotel doesn't have twin rooms! all their rooms have a double bed, and if you book a twin, you get a room in which there is a nice double bed with good reading lights and a back rest - and a sort of sofa bed, which is narrow and short, has no back rest or light, and would only be suitable if you wanted it as an extra bed for a child. you then have to toss a coin as to who gets to sleep in the nice bed. i lost.this is not a twin room! had i known about this in advance i would have gone to another hotel, but by then i had no choice, so my stay was ruined. the staff claimed they could not help me, as they had no other rooms, and they would not refund my money, as the payment was being made via hotelsclick.
