You get what you pay for
The building is in a courtyard and therefore the view from the rooms are boring to say the least. but when you sleep (which is usually the main reason to stay in a hotel) you don't see much anyway. judging by the view you would think you're in a gloomy russian suburb but exit the courtyard and you're actually where the action is; here the streets are packed with restaurants, bars and excessive shopping. the hermitage is only a 10 min walk. breakfast was ok considering the cost of the room. staff was friendly and helpfull. get the shower over with quickly or there could be a minor flood in the bathroom. all in all you get excactly what you pay for.
