Lobby
Lobby is large, long and marbled, with the reception desk placed in the centre directly ahead of the entrance. To the left there is a small bar, and to the far right the all purpose restaurant. Ample space for group check-in.
Exterior
It is attractive, lengthy, midrise building, in a two tone cream and coffee colour scheme, and teakwood roofing adding a touch of traditional Burmese style to an otherwise very modern construction.
Rooms
Standard rooms are medium sized, classy, and sumptuously appoointed in modern fabrics with hardwood furnishings. Though all modern there is a hint of local colour mixed in. Rooms and suites are equipped with air-conditioning, minibar, in-house safe and IDD telephone.Bathrooms are medium sized and as well equipped as the rooms. Rooms at the front of the house overlook Mandalay Fort and have views of Mandaly Hill. Corner rooms are slightly larger than standard rooms and also have a balcony. Rooms at at the back of the house overlook the hotel pool and garden.
Restaurant
Cafe Mandalay to the right of the lobby is where buffet breakfast is taken, as well as a la carte lunch and dinners from a menu of Asian and international dishes. Mediterranean cuisine served at Uno, currently open on a seasonal basis (usually October- April ). Cocktails, beers and soft drinks served at Planters Bar to the right of the lobby.
