Great experience !!!

This is great hotel,very clean with kind and helpfull staff. goog link with public transport from airport (6 km) and very near to the best beach in alghero (maria pia beach).

Hotel mistral

Lovely friendly hotel only thing wrong was they do with a bus time table in the hotel it was hard work to sort this out

Beach holiday

Nice and friendly hotel, great for beach but bit of a distance to old town. also pizzeria at top of the street to the right from the hotel very good and friendly

Short break

For a three star hotel the rooms were of a decent size and very clean. although the website indicates all rooms come with a balcony this is not the case. otherwise the hotel was excellent the staff were helpful.

Hotel mistral

Hotel mistral is well placed for the best beach (5 to 10 mins walk away). i found it too far to walk to alghero old town with my 4 and 8 year old children (more like 40 mins walk!!!), try the regular bus service instead it take 10 mins and costs 0.8 euro. hotel is situated in a residential area with only a couple of places to eat near by. exit hotel and turn right and 100 metres up the road is the best take away pizza ever. hotels is well maintained and extremely clean throughout. breakfast was good but coffee best avoided. reception staff very helpful. we had a great time.

A ggod place to stay

The mistral is 5 mins by bus from the centre of town but beaches are approx. 300 mts walk. hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. i was alone traveller and given a top story (4 flights up) room. the room had a double and two single beds and ideal for a family. the roof was low as it was in the attic really but it had air good conditioning. the lift only goes to the third floor so not so good if you were unable to use stairs. breakfast was fine and the hotel has a small terrace that was good to sit of an evening. there are no shops, bars etc. near the hotel so an effort has to be made to go into town. i would return to this hotel.
