The Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo has been completely renovated and features a splendid swimming pool (seasonal) and a panoramic terrace. The hotel offers beautiful rooms, many with a magnificent view of the Colosseum, numerous services including two bars, including a panoramic roof bar, business... Good, functional hotel
We had originally booked a room for 3 adults but were given a sofa bed for our tall 17 year old. the hotel were most helpful and allocated him a single room at no extra supplement. rooms modern and good size (large in comparison to ships statesroom) which we had just vacated. 5 minute walk to collesseum and metro which takes you all over city. good location if you want to be away from busy centre of rome ( 15 mins on red line) and lovely park behind hotel.open air pool was closed as open only until end sept but would be good in summer after a days sightseeing. breakfast was very good with selection of breads, cereals, bacon egg. hot and cold drinks etc. ask for a higher floor room as nice views, we were on 2nd floor which was ok. i would def stay here again
