Melia white house

The white house is our "home in london ". we always feel welcome here and the rooms and facilities are splendid. what makes it even more special are the staff who remember and greet you with real warmth. this time we had a rather lively 2 year old grandchild with us for afternoon tea. she had a tantrum in the bar and the way in which the staff cleared up a spilt drink with such calm aplomb was so professional. thank you - we wouldn't go anywhere else ! sue brown

London weekend break

Just got back from our second visit to the melia white house hotel. booked a superior room which was a good size, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom.the breakfast buffet was superb and the hotel itself was excellent,a much higher standard than some of the other 4 star hotels we have stayed in in london. it is also in a good position for tube stations and within easy walking distance of oxford street and the west end.

Great breakfast!

The melia white house enjoys a fabulous location. the entrance lobby is plush and impressive. the rooms are very comfortable, if a bit small (but where in london isn't?). the only drawback is that the walls are very thin and anyone talking in the corridor outside is easily heard - bit disturbing when people do this late at night or very early in the morning. so could be a bit noisy. the breakfast is sumptuous - a fantastic spread, well worth it, so make sure you get a room rate that includes breakfast. they even had churros, true to their spanish identity! all in all, i would stay here again.
