Arrived, not thinking the hotel would be up to much - having seen it on other websites - the building work is finished and reception ( well desk and person ) is at street level. it is a bit hard to find from its map on the internet, as there are no obvious signs on the door that opens onto the street. having said that - i was very pleasentlt surprised ,... for £27 it was spot on. i had a room on the 6th floor - lift working and new - and a view over the city - with a door out to the roof terrace. there was only a shower in the room, and the toilet is shared - but location, and cleaniness of room fantastic. fitted out with a hard single bed and a writing desk and wardrobe - both must be over 20 years old - no air con, but not a problem in october ... authough the day was warm the night was pleaseant. tip - take id with you if you want to use internet in italy. found price ranged from 1euro to 6 euros per hour depending on shop. internet train was most expensive. breakfast - roll and jam - tea or coffee - but ok for the price
