Hotel martinez

Excellent hotel with brilliant service. be aware that everything costs and is expensive. pool and beach can be a small fortune each day for families. excellent breakfast, expensive food and drinks at the pool and on the beach. overall, besides cost, absolutely brilliant hotel, location and service,

Escape to summer

Martinez was the ideal place to recapture the summer that never was at home. the central location is ideal for the shops, bars and restaurants of cannes.

Over priced hotel and dont know why

We did get a very good deal of hotelsclick.com, it was by far the best deal and at 520 pounds for 4 nights in peak season including breakfast it was by far the cheapest deal on the net. the hotel however was very average, it is apparently one of the most famous hotels in france, thats the only reason why i can think it was so expensive when we arrived, because it is nothing compared to many hotels we've stayed at, in fact the sofihotel at marseille airport that we satyed at the last night was twice the hotel this was. sevice very bad also, the pool attendants and beach attendants were paricularly bad, which you can cope with but when your paying 48 euroes a day per person to have a sun bed, its not exceptable. every thing was overpriced and for a 4 star hotel i think the hotel needs to come back to reality a little bit, my advice try the four seasons in cyprus we stayed there the year before and managed to get it for not much more than we payed here about 900 pounds for seven nights all inclusive, an amazing hotel. not to forget the tv's in the martinez were from the 70's and never worked, in fact the rooms were from the 70's and not much really worked! only good points were the buffet breakfast, the bathrooms were good and the managers were very proffesional in dealing with our complaints, there probably use to it so much now! my advice dont stay here try the sofihotel or hilton in cannes if this is where you want to go.
