Built in stone and designed like a little village, the resort blends perfectly into its surroundings, as it lies on a promenade overlooking the bay. The beautiful beach, fantastic views of the ocean and the proximity to the village of Sal Rei all make this hotel the ideal place for a pleasant and... Lovely hotel on hillside, but run by italians.
This hotel was lovely, brilliant views, lovely setting, clean and very good for the price we paid. the staff were all extremely friendly albeit their manner of being is a bit strange but i think that's just the culture. we tried the buffet dinner which was part of all inclusive and were not pleased, too expensive for what you get so i would advise going to local restaurants. the breakfast on the other hand is great and good value for money. the only downside was that as the hotel was run by italians, all the entertainers and hosts spoke italian so when there was entertainment we could not understand a word which really upset us as we were not made aware of this. it made our stay a bit frustrating. had we known how italian it would be we may have actually chosen a different hotel instead, very very frustrating!
