This was a very enjoyable experience. the hotel was well situated within walking distances to the restaurants in st julian's bay and sliema. the staff especially the front desk was very helpful and friendly. hotel room was very clean and comfortable. breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices will definitely be staying here again if i am in malta again

We booked this hotel due to the location (outside valetta, on coast and with good restaurants around) as well as there being a great deal on the price at the time. we stayed for 7 nights and travelled all around the island as well as visiting gozo and comino (blue lagoon). the hotel is well positioned as it's on some of the main bus routes around the island meaning we could focus our spending on great fresh seafood and boat trips rather than taxis. our standard room gave us plenty of space and a balcony, was very comfortable and the aircon always meant we were very glad to return to our room, especially considering it was one of the hottest june's that malta 's seen for a few decades (35+ degrees c). the rooftop pool gave both family and singles plenty of space and was very quiet in the early mornings before breakfast - a great way to wake up. the breakfast buffet was superb with two chefs out in the buffet area doing 'live' cooking and producing very tasty cooked breakfasts. considering the vast scale of the buffet, everything was very fresh and kept topped up at all times. would definitely stay at le meridien again!

Spent a most enjoyable 2 days in this magnificent hotel. the breakfast was first class and the food fresh and beautifully presented. all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful when needed. i will most definitely be returning again., only wish i had beern staying longer this time
