I was overwhelmed by the amount of genuine warmth that received us when we arrived tired and hungry from our journey....we were made to feel immensely welcome by reception our first impression which was very important..the staff were so friendly and kind and the food was amazing..a vast variety and definetly not for the faint hearted or manic diet followers. we were a little out the way from but we wanted peace and in the evening got a bus to either chania or platania for a spot of shopping and change of scene. there was a free shuttle from the hotel daily but we were so fixated to the restful stay of the hotel and fabulous food we left the venturing until the evening.
