The 3-star family run hotel Leifur Eiriksson is located in the centre of Reykjavik opposite the landmark Hallgrim's Cathedral and is walking distance from what the city centre has to offer. Guests can browse the boutique shops on Skolavordustigur or Laugavegur, visit one of the city's thermal... Nice hotel in great location
Stayed here twice and both times rooms and service were good. hotel location is great, in center of town but away from the main road which can be noisy late at night. its also only a 15min walk to bus station. staff are helpful and tours can be booked at reception. there is a wide choice of food at breakfast: toast, cereals, ham, cheese, pancakes. juice, tea and coffee is available 24/7 in dining area. rooms are clean with comfy beds and decent shower room. both rooms we stayed in had great views of hallgrimskirkja.
