Great location, terrible single rooms

My partner shared a twin room, and a friend of ours had a single room. the twin room was just about acceptable. it was very small and dark and the bathroom terribly old fashion and in great need of renovation. the single room felt more like a box room, and i have never seen a single bed as narrow as that. the room was dark, and the bathroom looked really passed it. there was a terrible smell of sewrage on the pavement at the entrance of the hotel, where the hotel had some chairs and tables for coffee.
