We went to this hotel for our honeymoon - not knowing anything about it. we decided then to go back every year for our annivesary, and we have. this trip was for our ninth anniversary, but it was our eleventh visit!. the same staff are still there and always friendly. we've seen a lot of changes but we like the hotel, the breakfast, the staff and the location. it may not be to everyone's taste, it may seem a bit basic to some, but we love it and it has alot of meaning to us.

A lovely hotel which we would recommend to other travellers. the rooms were more than adequate with good facilities - our room had a bath (very welcome after miles of walking and sightseeing! our friends' rooms both had showers), complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, plus toiletries. our room was fairly spacious which was fine for the amount of time we spent there. the breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit salad, youghurts, croissants, cheeses, ham etc.. the location of the hotel was good - a short walk to/from the place d'italie metro.the staff were friendly and helpful. we travelled via eurostar and the journey from the gard du nord took about 20 minutes by metro direct. the area was quiet and safe with plenty of cafes and restaurants and a 10 minute walk took you into the busy 5th district which was full of student-type bars and restaurants. it took us about 10 minutes by metro to get into the centre each day. overall, a great hotel which was superb value for money.

My daughter and i stayed here for two nights in june and had a lovely weekend in paris. the hotel is close to 3 metro stops all about 5 mins walk away, with a choice of lines to take you to all the main attractions. it is in a nice neighbourhood and on a side street, our room faced the inner courtyard so it was nice and quiet and clean too. we ate close by twice and had lovely meals in clean friendly places. there are lots of restaurants close by, along with a couple of supermarkets, bakers, chemist, bank, everything you need really, on your doorstep. the staff at the hotel are very helpful and the breakfast was great all you could eat, fruit, variety of bread, cereal, ham, cheese, eggs, yoghurt yumm, we booked via hotelsclick.com and the breakfast was included in the room price. for value for money you won't get much better than this hotel.
